Amplifying remarks

The Falkland Islands Maritime Authority is currently replacing the exit transit marks to the north of the narrows. New marks will be erected to the east of the current marks to ensure correct alignment with the leading marks to the south. Mariners are advised that during this replacement period, the new marks may be temporarily erected and subsequently removed.

To avoid confusion, mariners are directed to use the old marks until notices and chart corrections are issued to commission the new marks.
