Falkland Sound
Acoustic Wildlife Monitoring Devices
Acoustic wildlife monitoring devices have been established in Falkland Sound in the following position:
- 51°39.239’S, 059°17.151’W
The device is sub-surface floating 3m above the Seabed and unmarked. It is not expected to cause a hazard to navigation.
Vessels are requested to give the devices a wide berth and not to approach or anchor within 500m of the noted positions.
This Notice shall remain in force until further notice and previous Notice to Mariners 13/2020 is hereby cancelled.
