Navitas Petroleum Development and Production Ltd.
In accordance with the Offshore Minerals Ordinance 1994 (as amended), an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) has been submitted to the Falkland Islands Government by Navitas Petroleum Development and Production Ltd. concerning proposals for the drilling of oil wells and offshore production from the Sea Lion Field Northern Development Area, Phase 1 and 2, and associated activities. As such a statutory period of consultation will now run from 24th June 2024 to 5th August 2024.
Paper copies of the Non-Technical Summary and the EIS in its entirety are available for inspection in Stanley at the Department of Mineral Resources, Fisheries Building, Bypass Road; at the Post Office, Ross Road; and at the Department of Planning, The Secretariat, Thatcher Drive. Paper copies of the Non-Technical Summary can be requested at these premises and electronic copies of the EIS and Non-Technical Summary can be obtained on USB stick or from the link below.

Representations should include your name and location, or if responding on behalf of an organisation, your organisation’s name and location. The content of your representation will be included in publicly available reports after the consultation period has ended. The identities of organisations will be given in such reports, but names and locations of individuals will be omitted and kept confidential.
