Job Title: Offshore Petroleum - Environmental Inspectors
FIG Grade C: starting salary £42,641-£52,555 per annum depending on qualifications and experience. This post attracts a 50% Market Supplement Allowance.
The Opportunity: Providing expert input into the investigation and inspection of onshore and offshore petroleum installations situated in the Falkland Islands. The role involves responding to environmental incidents and regulatory non-compliance events and maintaining and participating in an effective 24/7 response capability.
Essential criteria: to include a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant Offshore Petroleum Environmental or Science Discipline with a minimum 5 years’ experience of working in environmental regulation of the offshore petroleum, or another industrial sector presenting major hazards; including reviewing and assessing Environmental Impact Assessments, Safety Cases and any other operator environmental submissions. The postholder should also hold Professional Membership of an appropriate institute associated with Health, Safety, Engineering or Science.
