Job Title:  Senior Residential Support Worker – Special Needs  

FIG Grade:  F starting salary £24,950 - £28,689 per annum depending on qualifications and experience

The Opportunity: to provide advice, assistance and support to persons with special needs and attend to their practical, physical and emotional needs in accordance with their individualised support plans, policies and procedures of the service and within the resources available in the islands. This role will also involve working in several residential settings across the community.

 Essential criteria: to include a Level 3, (or above) qualification in Health and Social care, (or equivalent) with 5 years’ proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities and other Special Needs.

DEVELOPMENT & COMMERCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT -  Continued Airworthiness Officer

Department Name: Development & Commercial Services 

Job Title:  Continued Airworthiness Officer 

FIG Grade:  H1/G2 starting salary £18,766 to £21,469 per annum or £21,135 to £24,279 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

The Opportunity: This is a progression plan role to support the FIGAS Maintenance/Continued Air Worthiness (CAW) Manager with planning, organising and managing aircraft maintenance including aircraft maintenance staff by controlling and disseminating/receiving all pertinent maintenance documentation such as work packs, work cards, modifications, airworthiness directives, service bulletins and letters related to every maintenance activity across the fleet.

 Essential criteria: to include GCSEs Level 4 or a Grade C in Mathematics, English, and a science subject (or equivalent), a valid driving licence and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes.

Essential criteria: to include a good standard of English and Maths as evidenced by GCSE with passes at Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent), a current manual driving licence, strong organisational and time management skills, including working to deadlines and accurate record keeping. The post holder must be able to maintain high levels of discretion and confidentiality in this role.

Essential criteria to include UK registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) (or equivalent), with 2 years’ post qualification experience in a Health or Community Care setting.
