Job Title: Reserve Police Constable

Salary: £14.61 per hour. An additional Bounty Payment is rewarded for every 100 hours of work.

The Opportunity: To be part of a dedicated team, providing emergency and public protection service to the Falkland Islands community. Your duties will vary and will include a wide range of interesting challenges to maintain low crime rates, contributing to the prevention of incidents through thorough investigation and the detection of crime. In addition, you will contribute to keeping the peace and providing response to the community and other agencies through helping, advising, assisting, supporting and reassuring where necessary. Essential criteria for the role include GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C or above. Candidates not in possession of these qualifications are invited to sit the RFIP Entrance Examination (60%+ pass mark), or candidates that have passed a recognised Initial Police entrance examination can have this taken into account.
