15 June 2022 - Changes made to COVID-19 Support Schemes
Since April 2020 the Falkland Islands Government have had in place a number of support schemes to assist businesses impacted by COVID-19. Due to the lifting of restrictions on Wednesday 4 May 2022 FIG have reviewed these schemes and have created a number of temporary measures to assist businesses and individuals under certain circumstances.
08 June 2022 - Passport validity requirements for travel on the South Atlantic Airbridge
The Defence Passenger Reservation Centre notifies all passengers wishing to travel on the South Atlantic Airbridge that they require at least 6 months validity remaining on their passport, from the date of return to RAF Brize Norton or Mount Pleasant Complex, this applies equally to service and civilian passengers.
06 June 2022 - Ticket sales for flights between the Falkland Islands and Santiago
Following the announcement made on 7 April 2022, the airlink between the Falkland Islands and Chile will resume on Saturday 2 July 2022.

Following the lifting of all COVID-19 restrictions in the Falkland Islands on Wednesday 4 May, the Falkland Islands Government would like to remind businesses and individuals that the original support schemes that have been in place since April 2020 have been reviewed and expanded.
