Development and Commercial Services
Welcome to Development and Commercial Services. Our directorate (DCS) provides FIG with responsive, professional support on all matters relating to Procurement and Contract Management, and Programme and Project Management. DCS aims to develop strategies and policy in all of these areas that will help to deliver improvements in operational effectiveness, and efficiency in the delivery of public services which contribute towards economic development.
The Director of Development and Commercial Services, Becky Clark oversees many of the major projects within the Falkland Islands Government, including the Port Development, Multi-Purpose All Weather Sports Facility, Stanley Airport Development, MPA Terminal, etc.
The department also manages the following services:
- Aviation Services - FIGAS
- Planning Services
- Court Administration
- Stanley Leisure Centre
- Government House
- TV, Radio, and Telecommunications
We are also responsible for outsourcing services which includes:
- Ferry and Coastal Services - Workboat Services
- IT Support within FIG - Synergy Information Systems
